INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for 4696 East Waterloo <br /> IRoad (Formerly 4648 East Waterloo Road), Stockton, California The site setting is illustrated on <br /> Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> IThe objectives of the work were to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in <br /> ground water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient A summary of previous <br /> I investigations at the site was included in the AGE-prepared Quarterly Report - April 1996, dated <br /> 12 June 1996 <br /> 2.4 PROCEDURES <br /> I This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites Sampling of the ground water monitoring wells was conducted in accordance with guidelines <br /> issued by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> I <br /> i <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 26 December 2001, depths to ground water were measured in wells MWA through MW-6 and <br /> vapor extraction well VW-1 from the tops of the well casings to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a <br /> Solinst water level meter The ground water elevation in each well was calculated by subtracting the <br />' measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing elevations (Table 1) <br /> After water levels were measured, approximately seven to ten gallons of ground water(a minimum <br /> of three water-casing volumes)were removed from wells MW-1, MW-5, and MW-6 utilizing new <br /> disposable plastic bailers,approximately 65 to 90 gallons of water were removed from wells MW-2, <br /> MW-3 and MW-4, and 12 gallons of water were removed from well VW-1 utilizing a Grundfos <br /> I Redi-Flo submersible pump Temperature,pH and conductivity of purged water were measured for <br /> stabilization at regular intervals for each well using a Hydac water analyzer Field data and logs are <br /> included in Appendix A Purged groundwater was containerized in DOT-approved 55-gallon drums <br /> and was stored on-site in an area lacking general public access <br /> 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from each purged well using a new disposable plastic bailer Each <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
