Locafiloh of soil samples. <br /> 3. Notation of groundwater's absence. <br /> 4. Utilization of driven-tube type hanuner. <br /> 5. Proper sample collection/documentation/delivery to certified - <br /> laboratory. <br /> I <br /> Two samples were obtained for each tank, one. at each of the tank ends. <br /> T`Y,ere was no evident groundwater or product on the floor of the <br /> excavation- Three to six inches of soil was scrapii ed from the surface <br /> prior to sampling with a veXh►ftteyer hammer. The sample tube ends were. � <br /> cgvered with aluminum foil, capped, taped with plihstic tape, labeled <br /> and secured in a cooler on ice. <br /> The samples were delivered to GTEL Envirormiental Laboratory in Concord <br /> 11� II <br /> the �asfie afternoon under chain-of-custody (copy attached) with a <br /> request for analyses as follows: � <br /> T.P.H. diosel: extraction - 3550 - GC/FIA 8015 modified. <br /> BTEC: GC/P.I.D. - 8020 ' f <br /> A 14 hour turnaround as requested, and verbal results were <br /> in that time frame.
