Hazelton Ave. Stockton, California Gentlemen: Attached please find our application for permission to locate a mobile home on the property of our son-in-law and daughter, located at 4848 Hildreth Ln. We have decided, that since we are at the age where we must prepare to adjust more effectively to ,'the income provided by Social Security and pension plans, that we should strive to adjust to a more equitable level of expenses. We feel that a mobile home would give us the opportunity of maintaining our expenses in a more effective-manner. I I am personally a colostomy patient and must have a large bathroom and adjacent rest area, large enough; to service my hygiene needs. Every third day, I am required to spend anywhere from 5 to 8 hours performing my colonic irrigation as well as resting for an adequate period of time. Considering my particular needs, we feel that a mobile home, with a floor plan including two baths with a suitable traffic pattern, with an area independent from the others, is required. °o While considering Je cost of a mobile home, we have been striving to find a 1974 model , while taking. ,into account that the unit will be more economical and yet enable us to service our needs. The floor plans and prices seem to fall into 3 groups, the first one being 24 x 48 resulting in 1152 sq. ft. The second, 20 x 57 resulting in 111Qsq. ft, and yet another, 20 x 54 resulting in 1080 sq. ft. After a considerable amount of looking at various models, floor plans, etc, we feel that the most suitable unit for our needs would be one which would provide us with approximately 1150 sq. ft. In fact, we have found a mobile home with these approximate measurements which one dealer has on his lot and has indicated a very attractive price. If after considering the above, you should find that you would like any confirmation :R of my physical condition or that of my wife's, we will be more than happy to supply you with more specific information or doctor references. If you so choose, you may solicit specific information from the Cancer Society to which I belong as a volunteer worker. We respectfully request your every consideration to our needs and as senior citizens, we look forward to your granting approval to.our application which will allow us to maintain our independent and self-supporting life style.
