t _ i
REVISED ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT WORKPLAN
JAY'S MINI-MART,STOCKTON
SEPTEMBER 2003
Groundwater samples will be collected using a new disposable bailer, and transported to a
state certified laboratory under proper COC documentation. The groundwater sample will
be decanted from the bailer into laboratory provided containers appropriate for the analytical
method requested. The samples will then be placed into a chilled cooler in preparation for
transport to the laboratory. Strict COC protocol will be followed during sample collection
and handling.
Groundwater Analyses
The groundwater will be analyzed by a California certified laboratory in accordance with state
' guidelines and EPA protocol. The groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPH G, TPH D,
BTEX, 1,2-DCA,EDB, and fuel oxygenates using EPA Methods 8015M and 8260B,
? respectively.
f
Site Survey h
 h
f Following installation of the new groundwater monitoring well, the location and elevation of
i the new wells will be surveyed using a laser level relative to mean sea level to the nearest 0.01 F
i vertical foot. The elevations will be tied to the existing well casing elevations. Static
groundwater levels will be measured to the nearest 0.01-foot.
The locations of all wells will be surveyed to latitude and longitude coordinates with an accuracy
of 1 meter or less using a Leica GP50 Differential GPS receiver. These data will be added to the
site's database and be submitted electronically in accordance with the requirements of AB 2886. l
f
`. SUMMARY REPORT ?
i
Ef
Based on the results of the proposed work GHH will prepare an AAR. The report will include:
GHH's interpretation of information gathered during the investigation; detailed descriptions of
a the methodologies used to collect and analyze the data; analytical results; copies of laboratory
fcertificates with COC documentation; and our conclusions and recommendations.
I
i
F4
J
' f
