The well installation section of that quarterly report will include:
• a detailed description of soil boring advancement and well installation activities
• a description of sediments encountered during drilling
• a lithologic and well construction log for each newly installed well
Isoconcentration maps for selected COCl (e.g., VOCs, metals) will be prepared to
depict the horizontal extent of affected groundwater. The monitoring parameters will
be evaluated each reporting period with regard to cation/anion balance, and the results
will be graphically presented using a Stiff diagram, a Piper graph, or a Schueller plot. j
Geologic cross-sections will be prepared and water quality results will also be
evaluated during preparation of the RI/FS for the Site.
6.0 SCHEDULE
It is anticipated that the proposed groundwater monitoring well can be installed within
approximately three weeks after approval is received from the regulatory agencies,
pending well subcontractor availability and potential turnaround times associated with
permit applications.
