Unknown contaminants will be evaluated by the IWMB <br /> before working in questionable areas. <br /> 10.The water source for fire suppression will likely be from municipal water via <br /> hydrants and trucked in by 4,000 gallon water trucks. <br /> 11.The suppression work (by SCI) will be performed entirely in level B safety. <br /> Should conditions warrant higher protective measures, an industrial hygienist will <br /> be consulted in accordance with OSHA guidelines. <br /> 12.Health monitoring will be provided by SP Environmental for dust, toxins due to <br /> smoke inhalation, and other pollutants. This monitoring program will be <br /> implemented in select areas where workers could potentially be subject to dust <br /> and smoke from the suppression activities. <br /> 13.Mobilization will consist of moving equipment, sanitary units and personnel to the <br /> sites and establishing water sources. Before starting work at a particular <br /> location, an introductory safety meeting will be held with all onsite personnel, and <br /> any onsite Agency personnel. <br /> 14.Of particular importance with respect to project safety will be the locating of all <br /> overhead power lines and any potentially "live" utilities. Special precautions will <br /> be necessary when working heavy equipment in the vicinity of public utilities. <br /> 15.Sukut will submit to IWMB an updated cost for the work which has been <br /> completed on a weekly basis. <br /> 16. November 20, 2000Minor traffic control will be implemented at the entrance to <br /> the project site. Typically cones and signs will be used to notify the general <br /> public of the truck traffic that will be entering and leaving the site. <br /> 17.Upon completion of the fire suppression we may incorporate some minor grading <br /> to better secure the site from vehicle traffic.
