All data
generated during the sampling activities that are subjected to analytical Level III
protocols will also be validated. LFR will perform independent data validation. The
data validation approach will consist of a systematic review of the analytical results,
associated QC methods and results, and all of the supporting data. Best professional
judgment in any area not specifically addressed by U.S. EPA guidelines will be utilized
as necessary and described in the Usability Assessment portion of the data validation
report.
G1.3.1 Data Validation Protocols
Data will be validated according to guidelines set forth in the following sources:
• "National Functional Guidelines for Organic Data Review Multi-Media, Multi-
Concentration, ILMO 1.0 and Low Concentration Water, OLCO 1.0, EPA/540/R-
94/090," ("National Functional Guidelines"), U.S. EPA, December 1994.
• "National Functional Guidelines for Inorganic Data Review Multi-Media, Multi-
Concentration, ILMO 1.0 and Low Concentration Water, OLCO 1.0, EPA/540/R-
94/091," ("National Functional Guidelines"), U.S. EPA, December 1994.
Page G-2 Final_RAP_Tracy_9.18.03(final).doaLFR
