While we look forward to tomorrow's meeting, and sincerely hope some of the pending issues between our respective clients can be resolved, we are compelled to respond to various inaccuracies and accusations contained in your last letter. Our first disagreement with your letter relates to the chronology of communications between our offices. The first contact with our clients and our office was by correspondence dated January 29, 1990 from Daniel Schroeder of Neumiller & Beardslee directed to Harold Knowles. We responded to that letter first by a telephone call to Mr. Schroeder, followed by a letter dated February 5, 1990, wherein we advised that the Knowles never experienced any contamination-related problems during their ownership of the property, and that the tanks were still in place after the property was sold to Pepsi. On March 2, 1990, this office responded to a written request for information sent by Mr. Schroeder on February 16, 1990, by providing him with the precise information he requested. In July, 1990, after ' not hearing from your office for over five months, we wrote to Mr. Schroeder advising him that we considered the matter concluded as to our clients, and that we would proceed to close our file. The next correspondence we received from your office was dated May 22 , 1993 , yes, over three (3) years following the last contact.
