Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
RE: 102 S. Wilson Way, Stockton, CA
Dear Ms. Turkatte,
I am writing to address the specific concerns/recommendations
raised in your December 1, 1994 letter to Harold and Dena Knowles
regarding the above referenced site. These responses follow in
the order presented in your letter.
1. Wells MW-6, MW-7 and MW-8 will be developed as needed during
the next well sampling event. All wells will be purged
appropriately prior to sampling. Forty-eight hour notice of
these and other site activities will be provided to your
office.
2 . The vertical control survey data are attached.
3 . Ammended copies of tables from the November 21, 1994, Report
of Additional Subsurface Investigation, are attached.
4 . An additional soil boring in the area east of SB22 , which may
represent an area of former piping, will be advanced to 40
feet below grade. Samples at five foot intervals will be
submitted for analysis of gasoline and diesel hydrocabons,
including BTEX, by EPA methods 8015/8020. The location of
this boring is shown on the revised Figure 3 (attached) .
5. An additional soil boring in the area west of MW-1 will be
advanced to 40 feet below grade. This boring will be sampled
as indicated in item 4 above. The boring location is shown on
Figure 3 (attached) .
6 . The next phase of drilling will be contracted to Spectrum (the
previous contractor) who will handle all permitting.
Post Office Box 130 9 Milford, Ca. 96121 • Ph. 916-253-2155 0 Fax 916-253-2294
