Contact R,,o,�//n Rowe Phone # 209-468-0342 <br /> Approval (d Completion Date <br /> REHABILITATE VAPOR WELLS <br /> Vapor wells VW2, VW3 and VW6 contain a large amount of sediment and need to be <br /> cleaned out. See attached table. VW2 has 8.42 feet of sediment and is dry, this is a 2" <br /> well, top of silt is just above the water table. VW3 is a 4" well and has 2.38 feet of <br /> sediment, below water. VW6 is a 4" well and has 8.02 feet of sediment, below water. <br /> It is not known how compact the sediment is in the vapor wells and they may need <br /> to be agitated prior to pumping to loosen up the sediment - possibly by injecting <br /> high pressure water, etc. For sure, water will need to be injected in VW2. Use 3/4 <br /> PVC with hose nozzle. Avoid surging the wells as much as possible because of <br /> large slot size which may allow for continued entry of more silt. Use ES-60 <br /> electric submersible pump, decon between wells. <br /> Contain purged water/silt in drums and label appropriately. <br /> Take drum count and determine total volume of purgewater on site for disposal. <br />
