The Escalon City Council <br /> has agreed to allow them to drill and new well and entered into an agreement defining the <br /> terms. Therefore, the City of Escalon had approved them drilling a new well and <br /> instructed them to reach out to the Environmental Health Department for a Well Permit. <br /> We understand that their contractor Masellis Drilling, Inc. who will be submitting for a <br /> permit. We understand that the City does not have current provisions for San Joaquin <br /> County to process our well permits but are requesting that you please assist in this <br /> situation. The City does not have a process in place nor the Staff qualified to process and <br /> inspect well permits. <br /> Thank you for your consideration on this matter.
