March Ln., Stockton, CA 95210 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to replace the overfill prevention valve and drop tube, remove the ball float <br /> cage, replace the leak detectors, replace the sump sensors, replace the annular sensors, and perform <br /> a cold start on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above noted address. The permit <br /> has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a <br /> 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be aware that inspections for <br /> emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval. <br /> a. Sensor functionality: Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure that <br /> monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code of <br /> Regulations and the Health & Safety Code. A copy of the alarm history shall be printed <br /> prior to performing the "cold start" of the Veeder Root system and made available at the <br /> time of EHD inspection. <br /> b. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can detect a <br /> leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> c. Overfill prevention verification: Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume shut <br /> off. <br /> d. Verify removal of ball floats. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the tanks prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br /> 4. Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications: <br /> a. Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid, <br /> current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be issued <br /> to the installation company), or a Tank Tester's license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board, and <br /> 1868 E.
