(209) 952-3481 { ��� <br /> Facsimile (209) 952-9891 , <br /> July 18, 1995 t9'� <br /> Ms Linda Turkatte <br /> �i',,Vi1R0N1,1ENT,-L dEA` r- <br /> San Joaquin County-Public Health Services FERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 E Weber St <br /> PO Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Subject Status Report, Subsurface Investigation, 102 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> i <br /> Ms Turkatte <br /> At your request Ground Zero Analysis, Inc (Ground Zero) has prepared this limited report on the <br /> recent environmental activities performed at subject site (Figure 1) This report presents the results of <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling of previously existing wells and recently installed wells Per <br /> your request, the results of soil samples collected during this portion of the investigation, boring logs, <br /> and associated laboratory reports will be included in the corrective action plan due October 31, 1995 <br /> The corrective action plan will also include results of the proposed vapor extraction test to be performed <br /> by September 1995 Work performed during this investigation included drilling eleven soil borings and <br /> installing monitoring wells in four of the borings (Figure 2) The work was performed according to <br /> Mill Creek Associates' Workplan (dated December 9, 1994) and Ground Zero's Workplan Addenda <br /> (dated March 7 and April 3, 1995) Spectrum Exploration (C57 lic 512268) was the drilling <br /> contractor <br /> i <br /> Soil borings SB-33 through SB-36 were drilled to depths of approximately 75-78 feet bgs Groundwater <br /> was observed at depths ranging from approximately 57 to 59 feet during drilling of the borings <br /> Ground Zero observed Spectrum construct four 2-Inch diameter monitoring wells MW-9 through MW- <br /> 12 in borings SB-33 through S13-36, respectively The monitoring wells were screened from <br /> approximately 55 to 75 feet bgs Per your request, well construction details will be included in the <br /> corrective action plan Soil generated during drilling was stored onsite and covered with plastic <br /> sheeting pending receipt of analytical results <br /> On May 5, 6, 15 and 16, 1995 Ground Zero developed the newly installed wells On May 15 and 16, <br /> Ground Zero measured water levels, purged and sampled the newly installed wells and the previously <br /> existing wells At least three well casing volumes were purged from the wells prior to sampling <br /> Water levels in monitoring wells MWA, and MW-3 through MW-12 ranged from approximately 56 <br /> to 58 feet bgs Water was not encountered in well MW-2, and wells MW-1 and MW-3 did not <br /> recharge sufficiently to obtain groundwater samples Monitoring data and purge logs are included in <br />
