i
LM
LEEDSNILL MERKENNOFF INC September 1990
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS
Based upon LH's supplemental investigation at 102 South Wilson Way in Stockton, the
following conclusions can be made:
1. Soil samples collected from SB21 and SB23 indicate essentially no detectable
' levels of BTX&E and TPH as gasoline This indicates that the lateral extent of sod
contamination to the north and south has been defined.
2. Sod samples collected from SB22 indicate elevated levels of BTX&E and TPH as
gasoline at a depth of 15 feet. Soil samples collected from a depth of 25 to 60 feet
indicate extremely trace levels of petroleum hydrocarbons. This data indicates that
1 the soil contamination :n the northwest corner of this site appears to be isolated
in the very immediate vicinity of T135, between a depth of approximately 5 and 25
feet. This data also indicates that this area is not a current groundwater
contamination source area.
3. A groundwater sample collected from replacement well MW6 indicates the
' presence of trace concentrations of BTX&E and TPH as gasoline, at levels similar
to those previously detected in MW1.
4. The presence of 1,2-dichloroethane and 1,2-dichloropropane in the groundwater
beneath this site is unrelated to the petroleum hydrocarbon soil contamination
problem.
9632-12rbr1292(m)
i
I
I
I
I
15
