Field staff and contractors will review the HASP before beginning field p` <br /> operations at the site. <br /> Permitting . <br /> ARCADIS will obtain well destruction permits from the EHD.ARCADIS will <br /> coordinate field activities with the EHD and schedule an EHD inspector to provide <br /> oversight of the well destruction activities. - <br /> Field Activities <br /> Utility Clearance <br /> Prior to conducting subsurface work at the site,the well locations will be cleared for <br /> underground utilities by a private utility locator. In addition, Underground Services <br /> Alert(USA)will be notified at least 72 hours before intrusive field activities are <br /> initiated. <br /> Well Destruction Activities r ' <br /> Prior to destruction, the total depth of each well will be measured to confirm the well <br /> casing is free of obstructions.ARCADIS proposes to destroy each well using one of <br /> the two methods described below; the selected method for each well was based on <br /> the concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons detected during the two previous <br /> groundwater sampling events (fourth quarter 2010 and second quarter 2011).
