Date January 31, 2006 <br /> ARCO QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> Facility No 5469 Address 130 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> ARCO Environmental Engineer Paul Supple <br /> Consulting Co/Contact Person _Stratus Environmental, Inc 1 Jay R Johnson, P G <br /> Consultant Project No U5469-14-4 <br /> Primary Agency/Regulatory ID No Nuel Henderson, P G , San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department 10710 <br /> WORK PERFORMED THIS QUARTER(Fourth 2005) <br /> 1 Stratus monitored groundwater elevations and collected quarterly groundwater samples from <br /> monitoring wells MWA through MW-10 (Figure 2) on December 8, 2005 Sampling activities were <br /> scheduled to be performed in conjunction with similar activities at the Knowles property(102 S Wilson <br /> Way) and the Top Filling facility(101 S Wilson Way) <br /> 2 Stratus technician visited the site six times (from October 6, 2005 to December 29, 2005) to conduct <br /> operation and maintenance of the ozone injection system, and to collect field and laboratory <br /> parameters as identified in the monitoring plan for operation of the ozone injection system <br /> • 3 Stratus prepared and submitted a Well Installation Work Plan (dated November 4, 2005) This Work <br /> Plan was approved by SJCEHD in a letter dated December 19, 2005 <br /> 4 Stratus complied and evaluated groundwater monitoring data <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER(First 2006) <br /> 1 Quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling will be conducted jointly with the Knowles (102 S <br /> Wilson) and Top Filling (101 S Wilson) sates The next sampling event is scheduled for March 2006 <br /> 2 Groundwater samples will be collected from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-10 and analyzed for <br /> gasoline range organics (GRO), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), tertiary butyl <br /> alcohol (TBA), methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPS), ethyl tertiary butyl ether <br /> (ETBE), tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and ethanol using USEPA <br /> Method 8260B <br /> 3 The ozone injection system will be operated and maintained during the first quarter 2006 In addition <br /> to the quarterly sampling, additional groundwater samples will be collected from MW-1, and MW-4 <br /> through MW-10 on a quarterly basis and analyzed for chemical oxygen demand (COD) using USEPA <br /> Method 410 4, total iron using EPA Method 200 7, and heterotrophic plate count using SM9215B <br /> 4 A Site Conceptual Model(SCM) will be prepared and submitted for the subject site As requested by <br /> SJCEHD the SCM will include hydrogeologic and chemical analytical data from the Knowles and Top <br /> Filling sites <br /> 5 The November 4, 2005 Work Plan will be implemented <br /> Current Phase of Project Monitoring/Interim Remediation <br /> • Frequency of Groundwater Sampling All Monitoring Welis =Quarterly <br /> K\Bp-Arco for URS\5469\Quarterly\2005\Arco_5469_4QOS docPage 2 of 6 5TPATU3 <br />
