Mr. Nuel Henderson, R.G January 31,2003
Installation of Ozone Injection System and Remediation Status Report
Page 6
collected from this sampling event did not exhibit a consistent pattern of plate counts and
nutrient concentrations, which correlate to petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations.
Stratus will collect groundwater samples quarterly to evaluate the growth or reduction in
microbial population corresponding to DO and petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations.
Reporting
The operation and maintenance details for the ozone injection system, which includes, but are not
limited to, injection duration and cycle periods, field and analytical parameters, and evaluation of
bioremediation parameters for petroleum hydrocarbon degradation will be presented in quarterly
groundwater monitoring reports. The reports will also include standard groundwater monitoring
data collected during quarterly groundwater sampling events.
LIMITATIONS
This report was prepared in general accordance with accepted standards of care that existed at the
time this work was performed. No other warranty, expressed or implied is made. Conclusions
and recommendations are based on field observations and data obtained from this work and
previous investigations. It should be recognized that definition and evaluation of geologic
conditions is a difficult an inexact art. Judgments leading to conclusions and recommendations
are generally made with an incomplete knowledge of the subsurface conditions present. More
extensive studies may be performed to reduce uncertainties. This report is solely for the use and
information of our client unless otherwise noted.
PABp-Arco for URS154691Reports\Arco 5469 Remediation Status Report.doc O TKArus
