Weil InstaIlation Report August 17,2001
ARCO Facility No. 5469
Stockton,California
• Page 6
• Benzene and MTBE were detected in groundwater samples collected from monitoring
wells MW-8 and MW-10. Benzene concentrations decrease with depth from 2,300 µg11
(MW-8) to 51 µg11 (MW-10). MTBE concentrations decrease with depth from 1,600 µg11
(MW-8) to 260 µg/1 (MW-10).
Limitations
This report was prepared in general accordance with accepted standards of care which existed at
the time this work was performed. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made.
Conclusions and recommendations are based on field observations and data obtained form this
work and previous investigations. It should be recognized that definition and evaluation of
geologic conditions is a difficult and inexact art. Judgments leading to conclusions and
recommendations are generally made with incomplete knowledge of the subsurface conditions
present. More extensive studies may be performed to reduce uncertainties. This report is solely
for the use of our client unless otherwise noted.
If you have any questions concerning this report, please contact Jay Johnson at (530) 676-6000.
•
Sincerely,
DELTA ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT4a .
Scott Bittinger n R.G.
Staff Geologist ger
•
C:\ARCO154691REPORTS\5469We11 Installation 0601 Am
