DISCUSSION:
TPHG (5,320 µglL}, benzene (2,820 µg/L), and xylenes (50.4 µg/L) were detected in the sample collected
from monitoring well MW-4. Benzene was also detected in the samples collected from monitoring wells
MW-2 and MW-3 at concentrations just above the laboratory method detection limit.
MTBE was detected in the samples collected from monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-4 through MW-6 at
concentrations of 2.20 Lg/L; 5,100 µg/L; 15,600 p.g/L and 8,290 µg/L, respectively. TBA, ETRE, TAME,
DIPE, 1,2-DCA, and EDB were not detected in any of the samples.
The groundwater flow direction was calculated to be towards the east-southeast at a gradient of
0.0015 ft/ft. The groundwater elevation increased approximately 1.3 feet in the monitoring wells since the
previous sampling event (December 2000).
ATTACHMENTS:
• Table 1 Groundwater Monitoring Data
• Table 2 Groundwater Analytical Results for Oxygenates and Additional Compounds
• Figure 1 Site Location Map
• Figure 2 Groundwater Elevation Contours(1 st Quarter 2001)
• Figure 3 Groundwater Analytical Summary(1st Quarter 2001)
• Appendix A Field Data Sheets
• Appendix B Sampling and Analysis Procedures
• Appendix C Certified Analytical Reports and Chain-of-Custody Records
i
C.1ARC0154691Quaner1y12001\5469 Q101.doc Delta
4/27/01
