• Date January 30, 2004 <br /> ARCO QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> Facility No 5469 Address 130 South Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> ARCO Environmental Engineer Paul Supple <br /> Consulting Co/Contact Person Stratus Environmental, Inc 1 Jay R Johnson, R G <br /> Consultant Project No U5469-14-4 <br /> Primary Agency/Regulatory ID No Nuel Henderson, R G I San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> WORK PERFORMED THIS QUARTER (Fourth 2003) <br /> 1 Stratus monitored groundwater elevations and collected quarterly groundwater samples from <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-10 (Figure 2) on December 10, 2003 In addition to quarterly <br /> sampling, additional groundwater samples were collected for parameters identified in the ozone <br /> injection monitoring plan <br /> 2 Stratus technician(s) visited the site six times (between October 6, 2003 and December 22, 2003) to <br /> troubleshoot the ozone injection system and to collect field and laboratory parameters as identified in <br /> the monitoring plan for operation of the ozone injection system <br /> 3 Stratus complied and evaluated groundwater monitoring data <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER(First 2004) <br /> 1 Quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling will continue at the site The next sampling event is <br /> tentatively scheduled for March 2004 <br /> 2 Groundwater samples will be collected from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-10 and analyzed for <br /> total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes <br /> (BTEX), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE), di-isopropyl ether(DIPS), ethyl <br /> tertiary butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and <br /> ethanol using USEPA Method 82608 <br /> 3 Stratus will operate and maintain the ozone injection system The ozone injection monitoring plan has <br /> been revised to collect field parameters on a monthly basis In addition to the quarterly sampling, <br /> additional groundwater samples will be collected from MW-1, MW-4 through MW-10 on a quarterly <br /> basis and analyzed for chemical oxygen demand (COD) using USEPA Method 410 4, total iron using <br /> EPA Method 200 7, and heterotrophic plate count using SM9215B <br /> 4 Stratus will gather necessary environmental data relating to the two adjacent former UST sites to <br /> prepare a Site Conceptual Model (SCM) <br /> Current Phase of Project Monitoring I Interim Remediation <br /> Frequency of Groundwater Sampling All Monitoring Wells =Quarterly <br /> Frequency of Groundwater Monitoring Quarterly <br /> Sampling Date December 10, 2003 <br /> • is Free Product(FP) Present on Site No <br /> P I3p-Arco for URS154691Quarter1yUO031Arco_5469 4QO3 doe 5TKATU5 <br />
