I Q05 Chemistry Validation Comments-- 04/05/05
Site No 5469 Lab No M-030479 Classification Groundwater Monitoring
Data Acceptable with Issues
• The reported results for GRO in samples MW-3, MW-4,MW-5,MW-6, and MW-8 are due to a discrete
peak in the quantitation range(probably MtBE)
• The reported results for Ethanol in samples MW-3 should be considered possibly biased low because the
associated continuing calibration standard was outside of acceptance criteria
• The reported results for 1,2-DCA in samples MW-7 may be biased high because the associated continuing
calibration standard was outside of acceptance criteria
• The reported results for the plate count analysis in samples MW-1, MW-4, MW-5,MW-6, MW-7,MW-8,
MW-9 and MW-10 may be estimated since the analyses for these analytes were performed beyond the U S
EPA recommended holding time
• The elevated reporting limits were the result of dilutions performed by the laboratory in order to quantitate
a target analyte
No Further Comments
The data validation report will be included in the e-mail
