Work Plan Addendum - July 1997 PIE Nationwide 2007 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION In accordance with the request of Mr. Shanjibhai Ranchhod of PIE Nationwide, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Work Plan Addendum for the collection of soil and ground water samples at 2007 North Wilson Way in Stockton, California: The scope of work includes the advancement of a minimum two soil borings at the site and collection of soil and ground water samples. The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 - Location Map. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 - Site Plan. This Work Plan is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites. 2.0. BACKGROUND 2.1. SITE LOCATION The site is located at 2007 North Wilson Way, on the northwest corner of the intersection of Wilson Way and Bishop Road, San Joaquin County, California (Figure 1). The site is further described as being located within the southeast quarter of Section 30, Township 2 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7.5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, photorevised 1987), The property is currently occupied by a vacant warehouse building structure. The surrounding property is primarily commercial and residential. 2.2. INITIAL INVESTIGATION It is our understanding that one 15,000-gallon diesel UST was removed from the site in August 1991. Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) and volatile aromatics (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes: BTEX) were detected in soil samples collected from the floor of the excavation after the UST removal. 2.3. REGIONAL GEOLOGIC SETTING According to the Geologic Map of California, published in 1977 by the State of California Advanced GeoEmiromiiental,Inc.
