SAN J O � � I `II411, Environmental Health Department <br /> C 0 U N 'f y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> NIXON-EGLI EQUIPMENT 800 E GRANT LINE RD,TRACY September 04, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following was observed in hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One approximately 400 gallon tank with used oil observed with oil stains and run off from the lid. <br /> -Heavy oil stains observed on ground near the 400 gallon tank with used oil. <br /> Note: One oil pan with used oil observed near the 400 gallon tank with used oil. Operator drained used oil pan into <br /> used oil tank and wiped down any residue. Placed shop towel in used towel container. Corrected on site. <br /> The following was observed in equipment parking area: <br /> -Heavy oil staining observed next to 2 asphalt paver equipment. <br /> -Three Heavy oil stained areas observed next to other asphalt equipment in the equipment parking area found near <br /> the scrap metal area. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean stains on and around the 400 gallon used oil tank and clean the heavy <br /> stains observed in the equipment parking area. Manage the waste according to Title 22 California Code of <br /> Regulations for hazardous waste.
