Immediately fix the leaking <br /> machine and clean up the cutting oil that has been leaked, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Facility underwent new ownership as Zenith Machining during late 2016. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, June 28, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152). There currently has <br /> not been a need to clean out the system, but when fines begin to affect the system the sludge will be disposed of <br /> as hazardous waste. <br /> 101 CCR 66262.12 Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number <br /> This facility does not have a valid ID number to manage hazardous waste. A hazardous waste generator shall not <br /> treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an ID number. If you or your <br /> business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous <br /> waste, then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. All others must obtain a State ID number. Go to the DTSC web <br /> site https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/for the form to apply for an ID number. <br /> Immediately obtain an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD.
