All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The chlorine measured in the pool was measured at 0.2 PPM.The chlorine levels for the pool must be <br /> measured from 2-10 PPM.The pool will be closed until proper corrections can be made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The address of the facility and and phone number is currently fading away and no longer legible. Rewrite <br /> or provide a new sign with the following information listed below. Correct before next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool currently contains debris accumulating at the bottom of the pool in various depths. Remove all <br /> debris and ensure pool is debris free before operation. Correct before next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The skimmers located on site contain screws to hold them into place. Not all skimmers were screwed <br /> down,which allowed me to inspect them but most were. Provide a utensil to unscrew the skimmer lids on site for proper <br /> inspection of all skimmers at the pool facility. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
