All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed the light fixture completely out of the water while still connected inside of the port.The <br /> manager stated that the maintenance man was making repairs but he is unsure as to what the repairs are.A photo log will <br /> be attached with a photo of the light fixture. Pool closure until a correction is made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br /> California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4)Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br /> fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 3160B) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The fence to enter the pool area does not contain a sign stating to keep the fence door closed. Provide a <br /> visible sign to allow individuals to understand that the entrance to the pool area must remain enclosed at all times. Correct <br /> immediately. <br /> Facility currently lacks an information board with the facility name and address for emergency purposes. Provide <br /> immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool contains debris accumulating on the deeper region of the pool facility. Remove and maintain <br /> the pool debris free during operational hours. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae.
