All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The current chlorine level is measured at 0.6 PPM.Adjust and maintain chlorine level between 3-10 <br /> PPM for the spa at all times. Correct, spa closure until a correction has been made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. Backwash the filter to <br /> maintain a difference less than 10 psi. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3123B)Pressure gauge <br /> located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B)Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br /> can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
