All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The chlorine level is currently measured at 0.2 PPM.Adjust and maintain the chlorine level for the spa <br /> between 3- 10 PPM at all times. Spa closure until corrections can be made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #9 Ladders and Handrails <br /> OBSERVATIONS:One of the railings is completely off of the ground and loose. Replace or re-secure to ensure the railings <br /> are able to be used for entering the spa. Correct before operation of the spa. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool.Ladders and <br /> handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed.At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br /> above the top of the lowest step.Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 311 1B)Pool <br /> operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #21 Water Level <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The water level is extremely high in the spa. Observed and ensure auto-fill system is not broken to <br /> malfunctioning. Correct immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The pool operator shall ensure that the pool water is maintained at a level that will allow continuous removal of <br /> surface debris through the pool skimming system. (CCR 65533) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The float assembly is currently missing from the skimmer. Provide before next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
