All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The safety rope was tangled around the safety ring uon arrival. Ensure safety rope is loosely collected in <br /> order to allow for easy release of the ring during an emergency situation. Corrected on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use.Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pool contains debris floating on top and located inside of the body of water. Remove all debris to <br /> ensure pool is clean and clear of debris. Correct today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The skimmers were observed to be filled to the brim with debris and do to the excess debris that had not <br /> been removed,the SVRS was activated. Clean and remove and debris from the skimmers as much as possible during <br /> operation or during routine maintenance. Correct immediately. <br /> Chlorine tablets were observed inside of the skimmer. Remove and only provide chlorine to the body of water through the <br /> chlorination tubes via liquor or powder. Correct today <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
