All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pH is currently at 8.0 or above.Adjust and maintain the pH between 7.2-7.8 at all times. Spa <br /> closure until a correction can be made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The skimmers are currently full of debris at the moment. Clean and maintain the skimmers as much as <br /> possible, even if spa is not in operation. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The influent and effluent gauge currently display a difference higher than 10 psi.Advise backwashing the <br /> filters. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 31238)Pressure gauge <br /> located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B)Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br /> can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
