Filter fabric will be used to line tank hole and cover granular backfill. <br /> 3. DEPTH OF TANK HOLE: Contractor is repsonsible for establishing the tank hole <br /> depth, considering the length of piping runs, to the pump blocks and vent <br /> risers, pipe burial depth, yard slope and the following criteria: (Measure at <br /> the Remote Pump opening) . <br /> a. A minimum of 12" backfill material is required under the tanks, except as <br /> note on the plans. <br /> b. The minimum depth of cover for steel tanks is 4'-0" and the maxhmnn is 7'-0" <br /> 0" (not to be exceeded) . <br /> c. Product lines shall be sloped 1/4" per ft. down to the tanks.
