In the hazardous <br /> waste storage area: <br /> -Three silver 55 gallon steel drums containing used oil were observed with illegible hazardous waste labels. <br /> -One blue 55 gallon steel drum containing used antifreeze was missing a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing uncrushed/unpunctured metal/paper oil filters was missing a hazardous <br /> waste label. <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing uncrushed/unpunctured metal/paper oil filters had a hazardous waste <br /> label that was missing the accumulation start date, hazardous property, physical state,the name and address of the <br /> generator, and the words"Hazardous Waste." <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by December 25, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
