History of Site : The property is owned by Stanley S . Moore . <br /> The tanks that were removed were installed by the owner and <br /> have not been used for many years'. The current tenant is <br /> Valley Auto . On 9-27-89 a 10, 000 gal . regular gasoline <br /> tank (0396) and a 1 , 000 gal . waste oil tank (#397) were <br /> removed from the property by Jim Thorpe Oil. <br /> The soil samples were taken by Canonie Environmental . <br /> Please see enclosed sample <br /> 3 . A. Ground Water Depth: The ground water depth in said area <br /> is 40 to 50 feet . <br /> B . Soil Removed : The soil removed from the top and sides of <br /> the tanks and placed on plastic tarps . <br /> C. Excavation History: On 9-27-89 Jim Thorpe Oil Inc . removed <br /> one 10, 000 gal . Underground regular gasoline fuel tank and <br /> one 1, 000 gal . waste oil tank. Six soil samples were taken . <br /> Two were taken from along 1Y" pipe line that runs from gas <br /> pump to regular gas tank. Two were taken under 10, 000 gal . <br /> gas tank, one at North end and one at South end . Two were <br /> taken under 1,000 gal . waste oil tank, one at West end and <br /> one at East end . Please see enclosed soil sample results . <br /> #85-052-7720, dated October 31 , 1989 . The sample from <br /> the # I tank on the North and South end showed "ND" for E <br /> all petroleum constituents . The sample from the #2 tank <br /> East end showed "ND" for all petroleum constituents . <br /> However, the sample from the West end showed 22 . mg/kg <br /> for total extractable hydrocarbons and "ND" on all other <br /> petroleum constituents .
