H. Kleinfelder do <br /> Associates has prepared the following Phase I Assessment Proposal for the <br /> underground gasoline storage tanks area Iocated on the northern portion of the <br /> Guild Winery property. <br /> `—' The Phase I work is designed to gather groundwater data to assess the <br /> effects, if any, the previously leaking underground storage tank may have had on <br /> quality of :he underlying groundwater. In Phase I,.J. H. Kleinfelder & <br /> Associates will: <br /> o Install four, 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC monitoring wells to a <br /> iepth.of approximately 50 feet. The wells will <br /> lentatively be located as shown on the attached sketch. A <br /> J.02 inch slotted PVC screen will span approximately the <br /> top 5 feet of the water table. All wells will be <br /> backfilled, sealed in accordance with San Joaquin Health <br /> Department standards and fitted with a locking cap. The <br /> well heads will be kept below grade for protection.
