Sol BodW trnesdgKdm Results Report
s 707 E.Yosemtte Ave Manteca California
. INVESTIGATION RESULTS
On June 23, 1993, Aegis directed B&F Drilling of Rancho Cordova, California, to drill three
soil borings to depths of 15 feet below grade each, at the locations shown on Figure 1
Each boring was logged and screened with a photoionization detector (PID) for volatile
organics Soil samples were collected at five-foot intervals for possible laboratory analysis
The soils encountered were predominantly sands to silty sands with sand fill in the upper
2 feet of each boring No evidence of hydrocarbons were noted in any of the borings by
odor or PID reading No groundwater was noted in the borings The depth to
groundwater in this section of Manteca is reportedly 25 feet below grade
A total of three soil samples (SB-1/15,' SB-2/15' and SB-3/15') were submitted to
Excelchem Environmental tabs, of Carus Heights, California, to be analyzed for TPH, as
gasoline, by EPA Method GC/FlD 5030/8015, TPH as diesel, by EPA Method 5030/3590
and BTEX by EPA Method 8020 Laboratory analytical results are summarized in Table 1
No detectable petroleum hydrocarbons were reported, except for a trace amount of
xylenes of 0 008 ppm in sample SB-1/15 ' The laboratory analytical report and chain-of-
custody form are included in Attachment 3
•
93-042A RER -3-
