A <br /> ,� aqua science <br /> engineers inC. <br /> December 3, 2001 <br /> Walt Martin <br /> 17933 South Airport Way <br /> Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> SUBJECT WATER WELL&TREATMENT SYSTEM SAMPLING RESULTS <br /> 17933 South Airport Way <br /> Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> Dear Mi Martin <br /> On October 29, 2001 , Aqua Science Engineers, Inc (ASE) collected <br /> groundwater samples from the domestic well located on your property at <br /> 17933 South Airport Way in Manteca, California The samples were <br /> submitted to Koff Analytical Laboratory in Davis, California for analysis <br /> The groundwater sample (17933-INF-10-29-01) collected from your well <br /> prior to entering the treatment system contained 14 parts per billion <br /> (ppb) methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) The California Department of <br /> Health Services (DHS) has established a maximum contaminant level <br /> (MCL) tor MTBE to drinking water of 5 ppb The MTBE concentration <br /> detected is below the DHS MCL for drinking water <br /> The water sample (17933-GAC1-10-29-01) collected after being treated <br /> by the first carbon canister of the groundwater treatment system did n o t <br /> contain any detectable concentrations of any of the compounds analyzed <br /> A copy of the analytical report is attached in Appendix A If you have any <br /> questions i egai ding the groundwater situation, please contact Ms Lori <br /> Duncan of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services at (209) 468- <br /> 0337 ASE is currently under contract to continue to sample your well <br /> and treatment system quarterly, and we will continue to provide you with <br /> analytical results of all future sampling events If you would like t o <br /> contact us, we can be reached at (925) 820-9391 <br /> 'OF <br /> 208 W E!
