On June 17, 2002, Aqua Science Engineers, Inc (ASE) arrived at the <br /> subject site to perform routine quarterly operation and maintenance <br /> (O&M) activities in relation to the domestic well remediation system <br /> operating at the site <br /> The domestic well remediation system consists of two 250-pound <br /> granulated activated carbon (GAC) canisters plumbed in series <br /> Groundwater is pumped from the well, into the holding tank, then <br /> through the carbon canisters prior to entry into the houses on t h e <br /> property <br /> On June 17, 2002, ASE personnel discovered that canister GAC #1 had a <br /> plumbing problem that would not provide representative analytical data if <br /> this canister was sampled Therefore, on June 19, 2002, ASE returned to <br /> the site and removed both existing GAC canisters and installed two new <br /> GAC canisters containing 250 pounds of virgin activated carbon each <br /> There was no reason therefore to collect a GAC water samples The old <br /> canisters were recycled by Slaby Sales, Inc <br /> On June 17, 2002 ASE collected one water sample as follows <br /> • <br /> Directly from the well, pre-treatment 17926 Airport Way <br /> - t - � <br /> 208 W E1 Antodo, Danville, Col&rma 94526 ® 925-820-9391 a Fox 925-8374853 <br />
