as i <br /> The specific scope of work is as follows <br /> 1 ) Conduct a title search to determine the owner of each property a n d <br /> mail a letter to each property owner requesting permission t o <br /> sample each well A copy of this letter is presented in Appendix B <br /> 2 ) Make arrangements with each property owner to sample the wells <br /> 3 ) Collect groundwater samples from each water well on these <br /> properties <br /> 4 ) Analyze a groundwater sample from each well for TPH-G, BTEX, fuel <br /> oxygenates, alcohols and halogenated volatile organic compounds <br /> (HVOCs) by EPA Method 8260 and TPH-D by EPA Method 8015 <br /> 5 ) Prepare a report tabulating all of these results for submittal to t h e <br /> San Joaquin County PHS-EHD and RWQCB In addition, a copy of the <br /> analytical results for each individual property will be provided t o <br /> each property owner along with a cover letter stating whether any o f <br /> the analytical results exceed DHS MCLs for drinking water <br /> 1 .2 SECTION IT — INST I T ADDITIONAL GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> VVU I S <br /> 1 ) Obtain the necessary drilling permit from San Joaquin County PHS- <br /> EHD and an encroachment permit from the City of Manteca to drill <br /> in Airport Way and West Yosemite Avenue <br /> 2 ) Drill two (2) soil borings at the site to approximately 120-feet b g s <br /> using a CPT One of these borings will be drilled near monitoring <br /> well MW-13 and the other boring will be drilled near the eastern <br /> property line (Figure 4) <br /> 3 ) Drill two (2) soil borings at the site to approximately 70-feet b g s <br /> using a hollow-stem auger drill rig for the installation of monitoring <br /> wells to be screened approximately 55 to 70-feet bgs These borings <br /> will be located near the CPT borings described in task 2 <br /> 4 ) Drill one (1) soil boring at the site to approximately 115-feet bgs <br /> using a hollow-stem auger drill rig for the installation of a <br /> monitoring well to be screened approximately 100 to 115-feet bgs <br /> The primary purpose of this well is to provide a non-linear point to <br /> determine the groundwater flow direction in this deeper zone This <br /> Frank's One Stop Workplan — June 2000 <br /> -7- <br />
