(O&M) activities in relation to the domestic well remediation system <br /> operating at the site <br /> The domestic well remediation system consists of a residential water <br /> softener system, followed by an air stripper with two 250-pound <br /> granulated activated carbon (GAC) canisters plumbed in series <br /> Groundwater is pumped from the well, through the water softenex„ <br /> through the holding tank, into the air stripper for initial treatment, then <br /> into the carbon canisters for a final polish prior to entry into the houses <br /> on the property <br /> On November 14, 2002 ASE collected two water samples as follows <br /> Sample _Lneation Sample Id_ <br /> Directly from the well, pre-treatment 17950-INF- 1 1-14-02 <br /> After treatment by the air stripper 17950-AS--11- 14-02 <br /> The samples were placed within an ice chest containing wet ice while <br /> transported to Kiff Analytical of Davis, California (ELAP# 2236) under <br /> chain of custody procedures The samples were analyzed for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G), benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene, and xylenes (collectively known as BTEX), the five fuel <br /> - 1 - <br /> 208 W E!
