4 <br /> The only properties within 2,000-feet of the site that would be considered <br /> industrial or have potential large water uses were Ted's Trucking and <br /> Saint Domenic's Hospital Upon inspection, Ted's Trucking did not appear <br /> to have any large water usage In addition, an engineer at the City of <br /> Manteca confirmed that Ted's Trucking is not a mayor user of <br /> groundwater and that they would not be considered a "large pumping <br /> influence " The City of Manteca engineer also stated that Saint Dominic's <br /> Hospital uses city water and would not be considered a "large pumping <br /> influence " <br /> 5 . 0 CITY SUPPLIED WATER IN SURROUNDING AREA <br /> 5 . 1 City of Manteca, Public, Works Department <br /> The City of Manteca has a municipal water supply well approximately <br /> 2,$00-feet southeast of the site This well is Public Well #16, system <br /> number 3910005 The direction of the well relative to the site is shown <br /> on Figure 2, along with the properties it services In general, with the <br /> exception of properties along Airport Way, properties southeast of the site <br /> are serviced by this well <br /> The City of Lathrop does not have any public water wells within the 2,000 <br /> foot radius of the site <br /> 6 . 0 SUMMARY OF WELLS SURROUNDING SITE <br /> A total of 57 wells were located within the 2,000-foot radius of the site <br /> 39 are of domestic, 3 are used for irrigation only, and 15 are of unknown <br /> usage It would be reasonable at this point to assume that the majority of <br /> the wells listed as unknown are, in fact, domestic given that these <br /> properties do not appear to have any public water service The location <br /> of all of the wells located are shown on Figure 2, and known details of the <br /> wells are tabulated in Table One Please note that the ten site monitoring <br /> wells are not shown on Figure 2 and are not listed in Table One because <br /> they are not considered relevant for the purpose of this survey The site <br /> drinking water well is listed however <br /> The closest drinking water well is located on the property itself in the rear <br /> portion of the site This well is monitored on a regular basis as part of the <br /> site assessment activities <br /> The closest properties to the site with wells are directly to the east (well <br /> 30 on Figure 2 and Table One), directly to the southeast (well 41) and <br /> Franks One Stop Report - June 1999 <br /> -3- <br />
