Big Lots#1916, 2720 Country Club Blvd, Stockton, CA Record ID PR0538908
06/27/2019 CUPA— Haz. Waste
PHOTO# 59
An unlabeled bag containing what appeared to be used spill magic or absorbent was found in a tote labeled "Pull and Hold Do Not Sell," located near the
HW storage area. According to Lashay, spill magic is used to clean up spills from food/drink items, as well as chemical/hazardous material spills. Lashay
stated that associates are allowed to clean up spills from food/drink items and dispose of the used spill clean-up material in the trash, while only managers
are allowed to clean up chemical/hazardous material spills and place the used spill magic into the proper HW tote. Lashay stated she did not know who
used and placed the spill magic into the "Pull and Hold"tote, nor did she know what the spill magic was used for. Lashay placed the item in a hazardous
waste tote at the time of inspection without knowing what type of hazardous chemical, if any, was mixed with the spill magic.
