13 November 2018
AGE Project No. 18-4357
AdvancedGeo
Environmental
• Collecting one additional soil sample beneath B-5 to confirm delineation of the
vertical extent of TPH in soil. TPH-mo was detected in B-5 at a concentration of
43.0 mg/kg, below the laboratory detection limit of 50 mg/kg. However, AGE
recommends collecting a soil sample at 6 to 7 feet bsg in the location of B-5 during
waste removal/disposal activities to confirm vertical definition.
• SJCEHD approval to resurface the area investigated. The property owner would
like to resurface the area with concrete before the winter and significant rain events
begin to occur. Following confirmation of the vertical extent of impact at B-5, the
extents on the property, in the area investigated will be defined. To further assess
the lateral extent, if necessary, soil samples would need to be collected on the
adjacent property to the south (1622 North Broadway).
8.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily
exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings
were based upon field measurements and analytical results provided by an independent
laboratory. Evaluations of the hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this
investigation are made from a limited number of available data points (i.e. field data and
soil samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points. No other
warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional interpretations, opinions
and recommendations contained in this report.
