1 <br /> Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2004 <br /> FIVE STAR MARINA <br /> ' 345 Yosemite Street, Stockton, California <br /> ' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Terry McDonald of the Five Star Manna,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> ' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 345 Yosemite Street, Stockton, <br /> California (site) The scope of work included the performance of a quarterly ground water <br /> Y monitoring event,submission of monitoring and analytical data to the State Water Resources Control <br /> ' Board's GeoTracker information management system, and preparation of this report The location <br /> of the site and surrounding area is illustrated on Figure 1, structures, former underground storage <br /> ' tank (UST) locations, and soil boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations and monitoring events are provided in <br /> ' Appendix A The results of previous ground water monitoring events are included in the tables of <br /> this report <br /> 1 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> le The investigation was conducted in accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board(CVRWQCB)and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> guidelines for the subsurface investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites and sampling <br /> I <br /> of ground water monitoring wells <br /> ' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 06 August 2004, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> ' monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 and shallow well MW-UST relative to the tops of the well <br /> casings After the depth to ground water measurements were collected, casing water in monitoring <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-5 was evacuated using dedicated, disposable plastic bailers, and well <br /> MW-UST was purged with a Waterra check-bailer Between 5 and 5 5 gallons of water were <br /> evacuated from MW-1 through MW-5 (equivalent to three casing-water volumes per well) <br /> ' Approximately 2 5 gallons of water were evacuated from MW-UST <br /> Temperature,pH, and conductivity of the purged water were measured at regular intervals using an <br /> ' Oakton water analyzer Field data logs are provided in Appendix B Purged water was contamenzed <br /> in properly labeled,75H 55-gallon Department of Transportation-approved drums and stored on-site <br /> 1 <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
