07 January 1997 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0266 <br /> Page 6 of 6 <br /> 13 Selected soil samples and ground water samples will be analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g), total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as <br /> diesel (TPH-d), volatile aromatics (benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and total xylenes <br /> BTE&X) and methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) in accordance with the appropriate EPA <br /> methods If field observations indicate that other petroleum hydrocarbons are present, <br /> additional analysis may be necessary <br /> 14 Selected soil and ground water samples collected from the vicinity of Building 1, the metal <br /> plating shop, will be analyzed for the following metals, cadmium, chromium, nickel, lead <br /> and zinc in accordance with EPA method 6010 If soil samples are in excess 150 ppm of lead <br /> or five time the total threshold detection limit of any of the metals, the sample will also be <br /> analyzed by a STLC (soluble threshold limit concentration) extraction in accordance with <br /> California Title 22 and EPA methods 6010 <br /> 62 REPORTING <br /> • A report detailing the results of the investigation will be prepared The report will be in a format <br /> acceptable to the PHS-EHD and CVRWQCB The report will be reviewed and signed by a <br /> California Registered Geologist <br />
