' Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2005 <br /> FIVE STAR MARINA <br /> ' 345 Yosemite Street,Stockton, California <br /> ' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Terry McDonald of Five Star Marina, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 345 Yosemite Street, Stockton, <br /> California (site) The scope of work included the performance of a quarterly ground water <br /> monitoring event and preparation of this report The location of the site and the surrounding area is <br /> ' illustrated on Figure 1,structures,former underground storage tank(UST)locations,and soil boring <br /> and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> ' Site history and findings from previous investigations and monitoring events are provided in <br /> Appendix A The results of previous ground water monitoring events are included in the tables of <br /> ' this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> This investigation was conducted in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(CVRWQCB)and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines <br /> for the subsurface investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites and sampling of ground <br /> water monitoring wells, respectively <br /> 1 <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> ' On 18 July 2005, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth to <br /> ground water measurements were collected,casing water in the wells was evacuated using dedicated, <br /> disposable plastic bailers Approximately b gallons of water were evacuated from each well, <br /> equivalent to three casing water volumes per well <br /> Temperature, pH, and conductivity of the purged water were measured for stability at regular <br /> intervals using an Oakton water analyzer Field data logs are provided in Appendix B Purged water <br /> was containerized in properly labeled, Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon <br /> drums and stored on-site pending proper disposal <br /> 1 <br /> 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> ' Water samples were collected from each monitoring well using dedicated,disposable plastic bailers <br /> after allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume The <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
