1 <br /> 1 <br /> Site Background Information <br /> FIVE STAR MARINA <br /> 345 Yosemite Street, Stockton, California <br /> ' SITE HISTORY <br /> AGE researched the site history, conducted a review of available historical public records, and <br /> interviewed the current land owner and representatives during the course of a Phase I Environmental <br /> Site Assessment for a real estate evaluation The history of the parcel of interest was derived from <br /> the Phase I research <br /> ' SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located in an industrial area of low topographic relief, located 1/4-male east of the <br /> intersection of Fremont Street and Pershing Avenue at approximately 10 feet above mean sea level <br /> (MSL) Two main clusters of structures are located on the property(Figure 2) Most of the site was <br /> used as a ship building warehouse from the early 1910s through the mid 1980s The remaining <br /> portions are presently occupied by an auto repair shop,a sheet metal shop,and a boat storage fatality <br /> The site as currently operated by Five Star Marina and other light industrial businesses The surface <br /> '. of the site as generally covered with asphalt and concrete <br /> REGIONAL GROUND WATER <br /> The estimated depth to ground water at this property as approximately 20 feet bsg, based on <br /> ' information from Lines of Equal Depth of Water Wells, Fall 1995 published by the San Joaquin <br /> County Flood Control Distract and Water Conservation Distract However, San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) records indicted that the highest ground water was <br /> ' observed at the site an 1986 at 10 feet bsg During previous site investigations at the site, ground <br /> water was encountered at a depth of 12 feet bsg The prevailing ground water flow an this portion <br /> of western Stockton flows generally to the northeast, whale localized ground water flow may vary <br /> ' during winter/summer cycles <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> In May 1986, one 550-gallon gasoline underground storage tank (UST) (West UST Area) was <br /> ' removed from the City of Stockton right-of-way an San Jose Street Total volatile hydrocarbons <br /> (TVH) and volatile aromatics benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (13TEX) were detected <br /> ' at concentrations as high as 2,000 mg/kg (milligrams per kilogram or parts per million ppm) an a <br /> single soil sample collected from the UST excavation <br /> One 4,000-gallon gasoline UST(East UST Area)was removed from the site on 13 November 1997 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
