Site Background Information <br /> . FIVE STAR MARINA (Former Stephens Marine) <br /> 345 Yosemite Street, Stockton, California <br /> SITE HISTORY <br /> AGE researched the site history, conducted a review of available historical public records and <br /> interviewed the current landowner and representatives during the course of a Phase I Environmental <br /> Site Assessment of Five Star Marina(the site)for a real estate evaluation The history of the site was <br /> derived from the Phase I research <br /> ' SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located in an industrial area of low topographic relief, located 1/4-mile east of the <br /> ' intersection of Fremont Street and Pershing Avenue at approximately 10 feet above sea level Two <br /> main clusters of structures are located on the property(Figure 2) Most of the site was used as a ship <br /> building warehouse from the early 1910's through the mid 1980's The remaining portions are <br /> presently occupied by an auto repair shop, a sheet metal shop and a boat storage facility The site is <br /> currently operated by Five Star Manna and other light industrial businesses The surface of the site <br /> is covered mostly with asphalt and concrete <br /> 'ie <br /> REGIONAL GROUND WATER <br /> ' The estimated depth to ground water at the site is approximately 20 feet bsg, based on information <br /> from.Lines of Equal Depth of Water Wells, Fall 1995 published by the San Joaquin County Flood <br /> ' Control District and Water Conservation District However,the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department(EHD)records indicated that the shallowest ground water was observed in 1986 <br /> at 10 feet bsg During previous site investigations, ground water was encountered at a depth of 12 <br /> ' feet bsg The prevailing ground water flow in this portion of western Stockton flows generally to the <br /> northeast, although localized flow may vary due to seasonal ground water fluctuations <br /> ' <br /> UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
