A California.Licensed Surveyor will survey and record the horizontal coordinates and elevation of the top of each monitoring well casing, at the survey mark, and ground surface adjacent to the well vault. Survey data will be relative to mean sea level (NGVD 1929) and the State Plane Coordinate System. Foliowing�survey, all wells well be gauged for a total depth and depth to groundwater using an electronic interface probe, and groundwater samples will be collected. The Appendix provides a detailed description of gauging and sampling procedures. r 3.4 ' Laboratory Analyses of Soil and Groundwater 1 Soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH- ' G) using EPA Method 8015M; and for benzene, toluene, ethylberizene, total xylenes (BTEX), methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether.(ETBE), and tertiary-arnyl methyl ether (TAME)using EPA Method 8260B. 3.5 Reporting Data collected during the assessment will be evaluated and presented in a report that will contain the following: i • Objectives and background • Discussion of results • Methods used Chemical data summarized in tables and figures �M • Boring and well construction logs • Copies of laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documents 4.0 SCHEDULING The proposed activities will be implemented within 30 days following receipt of approval to proceed from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
