--- WORKPLAN, • - <br /> MER SHELL SERVICE STATION <br /> methods. for installation .and development of wells ,described in the Appendix, a typical well <br /> construction diagram is presented on Figure 5. <br /> A California.Licensed Surveyor will survey and record the horizontal coordinates and elevation of <br /> the top of each monitoring well casing, at the survey mark, and ground surface adjacent to the well <br /> vault. Survey data will be relative to mean sea level (NGVD 1929) and the State Plane Coordinate <br /> System. <br /> Foliowing�survey, all wells well be gauged for a total depth and depth to groundwater using an <br /> electronic interface probe, and groundwater samples will be collected. The Appendix provides a <br /> detailed description of gauging and sampling procedures. <br /> r <br /> 3.4 ' Laboratory Analyses of Soil and Groundwater <br /> 1 <br /> Soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH- ' <br /> G) using EPA Method 8015M; and for benzene, toluene, ethylberizene, total xylenes (BTEX), <br /> methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), diisopropyl ether (DIPE), tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA), ethyl <br /> tertiary-butyl ether.(ETBE), and tertiary-arnyl methyl ether (TAME)using EPA Method 8260B. <br /> 3.5 Reporting <br /> Data collected during the assessment will be evaluated and presented in a report that will contain the <br /> following: <br /> i • Objectives and background <br /> • Discussion of results <br /> • Methods used <br /> Chemical data summarized in tables and figures <br /> �M <br /> • Boring and well construction logs <br /> • Copies of laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documents <br /> 4.0 SCHEDULING <br /> The proposed activities will be implemented within 30 days following receipt of approval to proceed <br /> from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. A report documenting the findings <br /> of the.assessment will be submitted within 30 days following receipt of analytical results. j <br /> 1160 W.
