Present at the meeting were you,
Herb Boynton,Ron Van DePol,Tim Cuellar and Bob Many representing Advanced
GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE),Marty Hartzell representing Central Valley Regional Water
' Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB), and Margaret Lagorio,Dot Lofstrom, and Jeffrey
Wong representing PHS/EHD.
tSoil and grab water samples were collected at various depths from Cone Penetrometer
(CP'I) borings in December 2000. CPT boring P-7 was advanced about 20 feet south of the
' former underground storage tank(UST) excavation. P-8 was advanced immediately north of
the UST excavation. P-9 was advanced at about 90 feet northeast of the excavation, and P-
10 was advanced 100 feet to the north on the other side of West Yosemite Avenue.
' Analytical results of some of the grab water samples reported in Core PerTesting Site
bzrstig-itiorzdated February7,2001 prepared by-AGE are as follow:
' Grab Water Sam les in µ /1 TPH-g MTBE (EPA 8260) PCE (EPA 8260)
P-7@ 101'to 104'bs 590 ND QO j 1,600
P-7 @ 129'to 132'bs 160 15 330
' P-8 @ 112' to 115' bs 500 47 1,400
P-8 @ 134'to 137 bs 290 39 920
P-9 @ 83' to 86' bs ND 60 ND Q5 930 -
P-10
30P-10 @ 29'to 32' bs g 1 520 ND Q5 450
P-10 @ 82' to 85' bsg 1 340 ND Q5 990
4g/1 (micrognats per liter);MTBE (methyl ten butyl ether);PCE (tetrachloroethene)
' Based on the CPT grab water samples results, the ground water plume has not been defined
vertically or horizontally. Gravelly loose sand layers have been reported based on CPT
' soundings at approximately 25 to 45 feet,70 to 75 feet, 82 to 90 feet,and 130 to 150 feet bsg
depth. The report categorized these units as First Water Zar,Semnd Water Zwa; 777i?d Water
Zorr; and PmnrryAquoer Zorx. It is unlikely that there are any true confining barriers between
these water zones. It is also unknown if there are any drawdown effects resulting from
pumping of local municipal water wells.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
