INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Phil EIder,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this work <br /> ' plan addendum for the site located at 420 West Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, California (site) The <br /> location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> The San Joaquin County Public Health Services - EnvironmentaI Health Division (PHS-EHD) has <br /> directed by Ietter, dated 07 July 1999, that a work plan addendum be prepared for a soil vapor <br /> extraction (SVE) and air sparging (AS) feasibility pilot study This work plan is prepared in <br /> accordance with PHS-EHD and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) <br /> guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites <br /> ' This work plan addendum provides a description of the scope of work and procedures for the <br /> installation of two SVE wells, one AS well, performance of a SVE and AS feasibility pilot test and <br /> ' a ground water pump test <br /> ' • 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> ' The site is located at 420 West Yosemite Avenue, on the southeast corner at the intersection of <br /> Yosemite Avenue and Jessie Street The site is located in a topographically flat area at an elevation <br /> between 30 and 35 feet above mean sea leNel in Manteca, San Joaquin County, California The site <br /> is within the northeast quarter of Section 5, Township 2 South, Range 7 East Mount Diablo Basc <br /> and Meridian (Manteca Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic Series, 1952, photo revised <br /> 1987) <br /> 21 SITE DESCRIPTION' <br /> ' The site is presently operated as a fueling facility and a mini-market One 10,000-gallon UST one <br /> 6,000-gallon UST and one 4,000-gallon gasoline UST were formerly located on the west section of <br /> ' the property One 12,000 gallon gasoline UST is presently located on the east section of the property <br /> ' 22 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> ' In December 1998, three gasoline USTs (UST Nos I through 3) and associated dispensers/Product <br /> piping were removed from a N�est section of the site (see Figure 1) Upon remo,,al, soil samples%N ere <br /> collected from the floor of the e\cavation and beneath product piping Total peti oleum h)drocarbons <br /> idsunred Ceni'mirnnmental me <br />
